to this day, I think Azula is probably one of the most interesting villains. Ever.

can i just say that her entire role in this episode scared the shit out of me 

because she had always been so strong and kept it all together, even when she mentioned her mother thinking of her as a monster, she didn’t seem to really care

but now all of a sudden she’s losing her mind and it’s all slipping so fast and so hard and holy shit she was a good character

A lot of people thought batshit!Azula was too OOC, but I thought it was perfect. She was too composed before, it almost didn’t seem human. Here, we realize she’s just as vulnerable as anyone, but she’s kept it bottled up so long that in this moment of high pressure she finally cracks, and it’s amazing.
